01Highlights

Fast, autonomous and proven in the air.

What the numbers mean for your mission.
  • 90–100km/h

    Covers ground fast

A fixed wing makes its lift by flying forward, so the aircraft cruises at 90–100 km/h.

  • Autonomous

    Flies the route itself

Plan the mission as waypoints. The aircraft flies it autonomously.

  • 3.58kg

    Light airframe

    A 3.58 kg maximum take-off weight on a 2.2-metre wing.

  • Flight-tested

    Flown before delivery

Like every aircraft XO11 designs, it is flight-tested before it is handed over.

04Built by process

Designed, reviewed, built, integrated and flown.

The 2200 mm UAV went through the same seven stages as every aircraft XO11 designs.
  1. 01 / CON

    Concept

The mission is defined first: what the aircraft has to do, how far and how long it has to fly, and what it has to carry.

  2. 02 / DES

    Design

The concept becomes an aircraft: wing and tail sizing, layout, weight budget and structure.

  3. 03 / REV

    Design reviews

    ◆ DR-1◆ DR-2◆ DR-3◆ DR-4

Four formal reviews, DR-1 to DR-4, between design and fabrication. Nothing is cut until the design has passed all four.

  4. 04 / FAB

    Fabrication

The airframe and its parts are built to the reviewed design.

  5. 05 / INT

    Integration

Propulsion, power, avionics and control systems are installed, wired and checked on the ground.

  6. 06 / FLT

    Flight test

    ◆ Gate

The aircraft flies. Its behaviour is tested against the design intent, and the findings feed back into the design.

  7. 07 / DEL

    Delivery

The aircraft is handed over only after it has flown.

06FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

Ask something else
01What is the 2200 mm UAV?

A fixed-wing UAV with a 2.2-metre wingspan, designed, built and flight-tested by XO11. It cruises at 90–100 km/h with a top speed (TAS) of ~135 km/h, has 18 minutes of endurance and ~8 km range, and has a 3.58 kg maximum take-off weight.

02Can it fly missions on its own?

Yes. The 2200 mm UAV flies autonomous waypoint missions: you plan the route as a series of waypoints and the aircraft flies it.

03Is every XO11 aircraft flight-tested?

Every aircraft XO11 designs is flight-tested before delivery. Flight test is a fixed stage in the XO11 process. Fabrication work for other teams is built to that team’s design and agreed scope.

04What if the 2200 mm UAV is not the right fit for my mission?

XO11 also designs and builds custom fixed-wing UAVs around a specific mission, from concept through design review, fabrication, integration and flight test.

05What about pricing, lead times and other specifications?

Anything not published on this page is discussed directly. Send an enquiry and XO11 will get back to you.

06Where is XO11 based?

XO11 is based in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, with a presence in Dehradun, where it is incubated at Runway / UCIE, UPES Dehradun.
